Expectations: Let’s be clear.

Missed expectation due to unclear communication is far more common between parent and child. In actuality, a surprising amount of this can be avoided by clear and specific discussions with your child as they are growing. The onus is on us in this endeavor.

There isn’t much to lose by talking.

Clarifying our expectation and the expectation others have of us is significant help to recalibrate any meaningful relationship and can provide the emotional balance to help all relationships manage through life’s changes and challenges.
