The Dog Days of Summer

28 Jun

Summer is here, although we would be hard pressed to recognize it with all the grey drippy days. The additional light and warmer air typically draws family and friends to our home from near and far which we embrace whole-heartedly. In fact when we designed and remodeled our home 13 yeas ago, we had that interest in mind.

We thoroughly enjoy having guests and we particularly enjoy creating a pleasant experience for them. It is part of how we enjoy our lives.

My family and I arrange local touring from shopping on ‘Trendy Third’ to riding the tram to OHSU. We take our guests to the mountains, the oceans, and to Hood River to watch the high flying para-boarders crossing the gusty Columbia.

Having guests and visitors from out of town gives us the opportunity to do all these things and thoroughly enjoy the unbelievably beautiful Northwest.

We never tire of it…there is something new every three months.
